Hi, I’m Sophie Bloom, Director of Product Development at Systics, where I lead our product vision with equal parts strategy, systems thinking, and heart. I’m here to challenge how things work and make them better—with solutions that are not only technically sound, but genuinely useful, scalable, and rooted in the needs of real people.
Before joining Systics, I spent over a decade at Workday, where I held key roles spanning implementation, product management, and solution architecture. I began as a Technical Consultant, leading implementation projects across a wide range of industries, locations, company sizes, and Workday SKUs. I then transitioned to Sr. Product Manager for Integration Content on the Global Content team, where I focused on building scalable processes for delivering integration content through the Configuration Catalog repository. In my final role, I served as Principal Technical Solution Architect on the Packaged Solutions team, architecting and developing strategic Extend and Integration solutions to address gaps assessed by their Industry and Product Strategy teams and deliver ecosystem-wide value free of charge.
Across these roles, I also invented several impactful internal tools to improve deployment, scalability, and standardization. These included SOFI (Security Optimization for Implementations), which evaluates and automates security; PACMAN (PhaseX Assignable Content Mover and Navigator), which enables PhaseX deployments to merge WDSetup pre-configuration with existing configurations rather than overwriting previously configured content; and CAST (Configuration and Standards Tool), which enforces naming conventions, configuration consistency, and content governance across technical assets.
What connected all my roles at Workday was a deep drive to improve the way things are done—whether that meant streamlining implementation, scaling content delivery, or filling product gaps with thoughtful, reusable solutions. The tools I developed, like SOFI, PACMAN, and CAST, were born from that same mindset: not just solving problems, but designing smarter, more scalable ways of working that others could build on. I’ve always looked for opportunities to push beyond the status quo, not just to optimize systems, but to rethink them entirely when needed. That mindset is exactly what drew me to Systics—a place where innovation isn’t just encouraged, it’s expected. Here, I get to keep challenging assumptions, building with purpose, and creating tools and products that actually make people’s lives better. Thanks so much for stopping by and hope to meet you soon!
