Hi, I’m Ryan Massie—Co-Founder of Syssero, Co-CEO of Systics and Synneca, golf lover, proud dad, and lifelong believer in the power of people. My path here wasn’t exactly straight. I started out as a professor of fine arts and communications in Chicago, which gave me a deep love of teaching, creating, and watching people grow.
Later, I moved into technical recruiting, where I discovered the potential of Human Capital Management software—and especially Workday®. That spark led to a leadership role in emerging skills at Oxford International, where I also met Amber Lowry. Together, we saw an opportunity: to put people back at the center of technology. That vision became Syssero, and later, Systics and Synneca—companies built on innovation, curiosity, and solving problems the ecosystem didn’t even realize it had yet. What keeps me energized is the blend of creativity and strategy. From my arts background, I bring an eye for possibility and a passion for building things that last. From recruiting and sales, I bring the drive to connect with people, discover talent, and grow businesses.
Through Systics and Synneca, I get to bring those strengths together: creating new solutions, learning every day, and helping both people and companies thrive. When I’m not brainstorming business infrastructure or chasing down the next big idea, you’ll find me on the golf course, in the garden, or with my kids, June and Sullivan. The game, the growth, the grit—it’s all part of the same story: learning, creating, and enjoying the process.
